You value true, authentic co
lor.
As trends come and go, I strive to keep my style timeless. I spend most of my editing time on matching colors to be as deep and true as possible.
You value a moment over a pose
Photos that I remember and cherish are born out of comfortability and genuine emotion. That is why I always start with a natural pose and let you decide if you feel like “you” before I start shooting.
You value a well taken photo
When you are looking through your wedding photos, the last thing you want to see is the photo of your first newlywed kiss that ended up all blurry with awful lighting. With each photo, I take the time to be sure that I have figured out everything necessary to take the best photo possible.

"Your wedding day is full of moments that are truly yours—quiet looks, the laughter, the little gestures that say so much. I’m here to capture those moments just as they are, in a way that feels true to you. It’s not about posing or following trends, but about preserving the feelings that make your day unforgettable."
Throughout life, a memory seen in your mind should always be allowed a photo to accompany it. Whether looking back on these memories makes you smile, thankful for the places it has taken you, or long for the clock to rewind back to those days; each never loses its importance. Seasons of life come and go, bringing with it changing emotions and colors. But a photo remains the same, locking in a moment that should always be remembered. It is my pleasure to be able to save and personally sign these memories for people through photos.
A little bit about me? I have been a wedding photographer for 12 years now - woah, that sounds crazy. I shot my first wedding in 2013 and was scared to death! Every wedding since then has grown and shaped my style and foundation as a photographer. I live in Brookings, South Dakota in our home with my husband, Travis, our spunky toddler, Whittaker, and our two doggos - Harvey and Banjo.
Jesus is my side-kick and I try my hardest to thank Him and give Him the praise for this gift that He has given me. I want all of the glory to go back to Him, for all of the ways He gives out gifts and talents to His kiddos, like myself.
Finding your photographer reminds me of picking out your fav pizza toppings; there are tons of good ones that can get the job done. But we all have our FAVORITE topping that just sends us into pizza heaven….I may or may not be like your perfect pizza photographer combo, and that’s okay! We all have our different priorities and styles. But, take a look below to see what it is I have built my style and my business around. If you find that those three things get you all pumped and excited, I may be your photo takin’ girl!
P.S. my favorite pizza toppings are pineapple and Canadian bacon…aka the best, duh!
